Who Runs Vocal Harmony?

Hi,
My name is Garry & I run the Vocal Harmony Website & Radio Station

I set up Vocal Harmony because I am passionate about singing. I started singing at the age of about 17 (I'm now in my forties) when someone heard me singing down the sixth-form corridor and suggested I might want to audition for the forthcoming school production 'Oklahoma'. I did and got the part of Jud Fry.
Around this time I had discovered the King's Singers, a British close-harmony group of 6 men who continue to this day to advance the art of close harmony singing throughout Europe and the USA.

Soon after the school musical I joined the County Youth Choir and over the next 6 or 7 years my love of singing just grew and grew.

I have been a member of several choirs and singing groups but am still looking for the right setting in which to advance my personal singing, in the meantime I continue to collect and enjoy a wide variety of music for the voice from 14th century plainchant right up to arrangements of modern popular chart music.

I hope that the Vocal Harmony Radio Station and website will promote good singing across a broad spectrum of styles and genrés.
